payments

Methods of Payment: All payments will be made via Paypal. You may contact me via the socials linked in the top right.

First Payment: Payment for commissions will be done in two payments. The first payment will come before any work is done, and will be 50% of the commission's total price. After the first payment is made and received, I will begin work on the commissioned work and move into the sketching phase. (Refer to the "Editing" section on the right for more information.)Second Payment: The second payment will come after the work is completed and both artist and client are happy with the final product. I will send you a heavily watermarked version of the png/jpg files, which will probably also contain some form of written text on it to protect my work from being redistributed/stolen before final payment. Your final files will not have these heavy watermarks/disclaimers on them. Failure to complete the second payment will result in a future denial of service, and you will not receive your completed artwork.

Timeline

Commissions can take me anywhere from a few days to a couple months to complete depending on external factors in my personal life, mental health, and workload/complexity of the actual commission, as well as how many orders I have going. In general, I will be as fast as I can but I require some patience and understanding. Regular updates will be provided, and full transparency is guaranteed.

editing

During the sketching phase, clients may request up to 5 major edits or changes, and many small or minor changes. This is unspecified because it is highly dependent on content, what is being changed, and how frequently.During the line-work, colouring, and/or rendering phases, a maximum of 3 major edits and minor edits will be given for free, respectively.I will decide what constitutes a major or minor change based on how long it will take me, and/or how much effort I will be required to go through. Changes required because of mistakes on the artist's end will not count towards the aforementioned maximum amounts - but we both must come to the agreement that it was a mistake on my end.

Ownership

Ownership: I exclusively own all artwork produced until I have received full payment. Afterwards, you and I will both share 50/50 ownership the artwork created for your commission, but you may not redistribute this artwork as your own, or use it for commercial use. All work I create for commissions are for personal use only - with no exceptions.I reserve the right to display commissioned artworks on my website/portfolio, but I will do my best to compromise should this be a concern for any reason.

Further Editing/Completion: In recent time, it has become common for clients to commission one artist's sketches/flat colour works, and then hire another artist with cheaper prices to "complete" the work. Under no circumstances is this allowed with my work. Failure to follow this rule will result in a future denial of service.

Disclaimers

  • I reserve the right to refuse a commission and/or client for any reason - of which I am not required to state to anybody, paying or not. Additionally, I also reserve the right to cease all communication and/or work for clients who behave with repeated disrespect, aggression, or otherwise unacceptable behavior towards me. In such cases no refunds will be given, and no artwork will be sent to the client. I will not store files, and any work already completed will be mine to use however I see fit.

  • If I cannot continue work on a client's commission for reasons beyond my control, I will negotiate a new completion date and/or timeline with the client, and adjust the total price based on the new expected completion date.

  • I do not send clients CSP files of any artwork I create. Clients will receive their artwork in png and jpg formats via Google Drive - and only Google Drive. I will store your commission files in .clip format for 1 month, which allows for exporting again when necessary. After 1 month, they will be deleted to save space on my personal computer.

  • Any work sent to the client during the approval and overall process stages will be heavily watermarked, and these images will not be cleaned up for client use.

  • My artwork may never be used to train AI models, nor can it ever be used for NFT or otherwise commercial reasons. Attempts to "loophole" this term will be considered the same as a direct offence.

  • Attempts to recreate my work and/or reflect my visual style using a generative Ai will be considered the same offence as the above bullet point.

  • This website acts as a binding terms and service. It is your responsibility to carefully read through my terms, and make sure you understand them in full.

  • Complex Backgrounds

  • Underage/Child porn*

  • Horror and analog horror

  • Insects - especially Spiders or other Arachnids

  • Real people - including yourself

*Even if the subject who looks like a child is actually 2,000 years old in the lore. I don't care.

5% Off total price - Soulslike characters from the following FromSoftware titles will be given a 5% discount only if the client provides me with a suitable amount of reference material in visual or written form. (Visual preferred.)Please note, I have not played Demon's Souls and I have yet to complete Sekiro, so discounts will not be offered for either title as of right now. I have also not yet completed Dark Souls 2, but I have played enough that I am no longer concerned about unfamiliarity with the material or spoilers.
